Use of @postasis platform for art exhibitions. The case study of Pantelis Xagoraris (EN / GR)
This course – case study illustrates how a Fine Arts Professor / Instructor or a Contemporary Art curator may organize, inside @postasis platform, a visual art exhibition, or the creation of an artwork, and develop a course or seminar based the specific artistic action, as to creation and presentation.
A case study is developed which presents Pantelis Xagoraris, one of the most pioneers in Digital Arts in Greece and worldwide, who developed real-time actions with digital technology of the 70s.
For the needs of the virtual exhibition – constituting also a course space, a collaboration is established between two visual arts professors of Athens School of Fine Arts (Zafos Xagoraris, Manthos Santorineos), a curator-researcher of the National Museum of Contemporary Art (Stamatis Schizakis), and a computer scientist-researcher, Instructor of Athens School of Fine Arts (Stavroula Zoi).
